The Canine Hair Metals and Minerals Test quantifies the presence of mineral elements, indicators, and toxic metals using ICP-MS/MS technology from a dog’s hair sample. This type of analysis provides relevant information on the organism’s cumulative exposure and mineral balance in the medium and long term.
Hair acts as a storage tissue, making this study a useful tool for evaluating chronic exposures, mineral imbalances, and potential metal accumulations, complementing other analytical studies performed in different biological matrices.
