Asbestos is still present in many buildings, industrial facilities, and installations built before it was banned. Knowing whether a material contains it and what condition it is in is the first step for any construction, renovation, or maintenance plan with confidence. And that first step begins in the laboratory.

At Teletest we analyze asbestos in materials, air, and water, and we provide you with a team with over 15 years of experience and a special express results delivery service.

We work under accreditation, because in asbestos the reliability of the result is everything:

• Laboratory authorized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy (CT-ALA-1) and accredited by ENAC for the counting of asbestos fibers and other fibers in air (MTA/MA-051/A04).
• First entity accredited by ENAC in Spain for the counting of inorganic fibers in air by SEM-EDS (ISO 14966:2019) and for the determination of asbestos in materials by SEM-EDS and MOPD (ISO 22262-1:2012).
• Optical and electron microscopy, both accredited by ENAC (no. 910/LE2640) according to ISO 17025 standard.

These accreditations allow us to guarantee the reliability of our results to inspection entities that locate and diagnose asbestos in buildings and installations according to standard UNE 171370-2:2021.

In addition, we offer the service of asbestos location and diagnosis —performed by technicians certified in UNE 171370-2:2021— in buildings, industrial facilities, ships, trains, or contaminated soil, among others.
