Industrial Hygiene
Industrial Hygiene encompasses the study of chemical substances in work environments, with the aim of identifying and quantifying their presence. This facilitates the implementation of appropriate corrective measures to prevent risks or damage to health.
This process involves the use of suction pumps, calibrated to different flows, to collect environmental samples accurately. It is crucial to have certifications that ensure the correct condition and use of these pumps, as well as the proper handling of the devices that capture the chemical substances to be examined. In certain cases, given the complexity of the analysis, the intervention of a specialized consultant is necessary to guarantee correct and effective planning.
The continuous training of prevention technicians is a crucial point to maintain the quality of the process, both in terms of handling during sampling and in the interpretation and assessment of results or monitoring of work plans.
Our professionals are specialized in carrying out field work and technical advice for the application of the UNE-EN 689:2021 standard “Measurement of exposure by inhalation of chemical agents. Strategy to verify compliance with occupational exposure limit values.”
Our services in Industrial Hygiene focus on:
- Identification, evaluation, and control of those chemical agents present in the workplace.
- Availability of specialized technicians in carrying out field work and hygienic measurements.
- Technical advice for the preparation of budgets. In the ‘BUDGETS‘ section you can consult the list of compounds by CAS.
