The Organic Acids Test is an advanced diagnostic tool that allows for the evaluation of the presence and concentration of organic acids in urine, with the objective of detecting and characterizing potential congenital metabolic errors and analyzing the status of various metabolic pathways in the body. This study provides a comprehensive view of cellular metabolism and can reveal underlying metabolic dysfunctions that impact overall health.

It includes the determination of more than 70 analytes related to the microbiota, the Krebs cycle, detoxification, and neurobiology, among others (compounds associated with amino acids, fatty acids, neurotransmitters, metabolites derived from the intestinal microbiota, markers of oxidative stress…).

The techniques used are LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, Ion Chromatography, and HPLC.
