The Comprehensive Borrelia–Lyme Profile is an extended immunology test that assesses the cellular response (IFN-γ ELISPOT in T lymphocytes), the humoral response (IgM/IgG by immunoblot), and lymphocyte immunophenotyping including NK CD57+ count, helping to complement diagnosis and differentiate active and latent forms of Lyme disease in the clinical context.

If a very recent infection is suspected, a Borrelia spp. PCR study is recommended.
