The simultaneous detection of these pathogens is key for a more complete evaluation and appropriate clinical management.
- Bartonella Henselae IgG: Intracellular bacterium associated with cat scratches and vectors. It produces persistent lymphadenopathy, fever, and chronic fatigue, and can generate neurological, cutaneous, or vascular manifestations and present subclinically.
- Babesia Divergens IgG: Tick-borne parasite that infects erythrocytes. It causes intermittent fever, night sweats, hemolytic anemia, and asthenia, with a risk of severe forms in immunocompromised patients.
- Anaplasma Phagocytophilum IgG: Bacteria transmitted by Ixodes ticks, frequently associated with co-infection with Borrelia. It manifests with acute fever, headache, myalgias, cytopenias, and elevated transaminases, and can become complicated without treatment.
- Rickettsia Conorii IgG: Bacteria that causes Mediterranean spotted fever, transmitted by the dog tick. It causes high fever, rash, characteristic inoculation lesion, and headache, with possible neurological or systemic complications.
