Delivery of results from receipt of sample
The Plus Profile of the Endometrial Dysbiosis Test evaluates the microbiota present in the endometrium in relation to female fertility, infections, and/or inflammations. It adds to the Extended profile a morphological study of the endometrium and an assessment of CD138, Cd56, and BCL6 plasma cells by the Inmnohistoquímico method as an assessment of the inflammatory response.
- Fertility studies (implantation failures, recurrent abortions)

MICROBIOTA:
- Lactic Acid Bacteria: Lactobacillus spp, L. crispatus, L. iners, L. gasseri, L. jensenii, L. otros; Bifidobacterium spp.
- Opportunistic Bacteria: Enterococcus spp, Mobiluncus spp, Atopobium vaginae, Gardnerella vaginalis, Streptococcus spp; Megasphaera spp, Peptococcus spp, Bacteroides spp, Prevotella spp, Staphylococcus spp, Corynebacterium spp, Enterobacteriaceae (Klebsiella spp y Escherichia coli), Sneathia amnii, Actinomyces, Fusobacterium spp.
- Fungi and Yeasts: Candida spp and Candida typing (C. albicans, C. glabrata, C. krusei, C. parapsilosis, C. tropicalis, C. dubliniensis y C. lusitaniae).
BASIC STIs: Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Trichomonas vaginalis, Mycoplasma hominis, Mycoplasma genitalium, Ureaplasma parvum, Ureaplasma urealyticum.
ULCER STIs: Chlamydia Lymphogranuloma Venereum, Treponema pallidum, Haemophilus ducreyi, Herpes Simplex Virus 1, Herpes Simplex Virus 2, Cytomegalovirus, Varicella Zoster Virus.
IMMUNOLOGICAL ENDOMETRIAL MARKERS: CD138, CD56 and BCL6.
IMPORTANT: Take the sample in the luteal phase (between days 18 and 24 after the start of menstruation). Avoid during the menstrual period.
- Avoid treatment with ovules or antibiotics 15 days before.
- Abstain from sexual activity for a minimum of 3 days before taking the sample.
- Avoid vaginal douches 1 week before, spermicides or lubricants 48 hours before.
- Do not use antiseptics (povidone, chlorhexidine) during the examination before taking the sample.
- After an abortion, wait 3 months before taking an endometrial sample.
NOTE: The endometrial cannula is not included in the kit. Perform the endometrial biopsy with the instrument of choice of the healthcare professional.
