- The hair should be at least 3-4 cm long and, if possible, the sample should NOT be taken from dyed hair. (If it is not possible to meet these two requirements, perform the Nail Metals Test)
- Rinse hair with plenty of water (WITHOUT USING SOAP OR CONDITIONER).
- Air dry hair (AVOID USING A HAIR DRYER).
- Use stainless steel scissors, free of oxides and residue.
