The Mycoplasma genitalium and genotypic resistance to azithromycin test enables qualitative detection of Mycoplasma genitalium by real-time multiplex PCR, as well as identification of mutations associated with azithromycin resistance.
This test is indicated to support the molecular diagnosis of M. genitalium infection and to guide therapeutic assessment.
