The Urine Mycotoxin Test allows the evaluation of mycotoxins associated with environmental or dietary exposure, mainly related to fungi of the genera Aspergillus, Fusarium and Penicillium.

Mycotoxins are metabolites produced by certain fungi, especially of the genera Aspergillus, Penicillium and Fusarium. They can appear in food, feed or environments with humidity and mould presence.

Their relevance depends on the type of mycotoxin, the route of exposure and the level of contact. Therefore, their analysis may be useful when there is suspicion of environmental or dietary exposure, always interpreting the results in clinical context.

  • Suspected environmental or dietary exposure to moulds and mycotoxins.
  • Previous contact with humidity, spaces with mould presence or contaminated food.
  • Persistent or chronic fatigue without clearly identified cause.
  • Unexplained neurological symptoms.
  • Multiple chemical sensitivity.
  • Recurrent or persistent dermatological or respiratory alterations.
  • Situations of immune dysfunction requiring broader assessment.

Results must always be interpreted in clinical context.

    • Aflatoxins (B1, B2, G1, G2, and M1)
    • Ochratoxin A (OTA)
    • Zearalanone (Zea) and Zearalenone (Zee)
    • Deoxynivalenol (DON)
    • Sterigmatocystin (ST)
