The Respiratory Virus Profile by PCR is a highly sensitive molecular test that simultaneously identifies the main respiratory viruses, facilitating a rapid and reliable differential diagnosis.

This test is indicated when acute symptoms compatible with viral infection are present (fever, cough, myalgia, odynophagia, bronchiolitis), to differentiate between conditions such as influenza, COVID-19, or other viruses in order to decide on isolation or antivirals, and in at-risk patients (pediatrics, elderly, pregnant women, chronically ill, immunocompromised).
