The Plus profile of the Vaginal Dysbiosis Test is the study of the vaginal microbiota by NGS method, allowing a global observation of the vaginal microenvironment. Itncorporates the study of Cervical Carcinoma prevention to the Extended profile, adding the determination and typing of HPV.
The inflammation and pH markers provide information on the impact on the balance of the vaginal mucosa. Includes the study of sexually transmitted microorganisms, both the most frequent and those that cause ulcers, typing of Candida or viral infections.
This is a complete study that allows the identification of most of the infections described at the vaginal level, as well as a screening for Cervical Carcinoma.
- Recurrent or isolated infections (Vaginosis)
- Menstrual imbalances (menstrual pain, metrorrhagia…)
- Infection due to the overgrowth of species and pathogens (STIs, viruses, highlighting HPV typing) that favor a pro-inflammatory state (Vaginitis) and/or pelvic infection (pelvic pain).
- The study of female fertility (implantation failures and recurrent abortions) • The evolution of ASCUS, CIN I, CIN II and CIN III (HPV).
- WOMEN’S MARKERS: pH, secretory IgA, and Lactoferrin.
- MICROBIOME by NGS:
- Bacteriome: more than 50 bacterial genera are detected together with the most relevant species. The typing of the Lactobacillaceae (L. crispatus, L. gasseri, L. paragasseri, L. jensenii, L. iners, L. vaginalis.. family is included.
- Mycobiome: 5 fungal genera are detected. The typing of the Candida (C. albicans, C. auris, C. glabrata, C. krusei, C. parapsilosis, C. tropicalis, C. theae, C. utilis, C. dubliniensis y C. lusitaniae) genus is included.
- STIs by PCR: Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseriae gonorrhoeae, Trichomonas vaginalis, Mycoplasma hominis, Mycoplasma genitalium, Ureaplasma parvum, Ureaplasma urealyticum, Chlamydia LGV, Treponema pallidum, Haemophilus ducreyi.
- VIRUSES by PCR: HSV1, HSV2, CMV, VZV.
- HPV GENOTYPING:
- High risk: 16, 18, 26, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 53, 56, 58, 59, 66, 68, 69, 73 and 82.
- Low risk: 6, 11, 40, 42, 43, 44, 54, 61 and 70
- LIQUID CYTOLOGY
